So MUCH to share! Our first meeting for Phi Chapter’s 2026-2028 biennium is in the books! We met at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, at the Center for the Arts at Chipola College in Marianna, FL! 🌹

We had so much happening! Pinning our new President, Debbie Dolan, pinning our past President, Evelyn Ward, and we completed our April 2026 induction ceremony for our newest Phi Sister, Ashley Beasley Rogers. Thank you, Deanie DeFelix and Penny Edwards for helping with the presentations. 🌹

Thank you, Phi Sisters, for honoring our past Recording Secretary, Aundrea Sellars. She will be missed but without a doubt, Aundrea is sitting at the the feet of Jesus! We recognized our new Recording Secretary, Arnita Whelchel! Thank you, Arnita, for your willingness to serve. 🌹

We had gift card raffles to build our scholarship fund, food tables filled with crescent rolls, salads, pasta dishes, and desserts. Our Marianna Phi Sisters were our Hostess Groups for the evening. We appreciated your service! Thank YOU!🌹

Our NEXT meeting is Tuesday, Nov. 2, same time, same place.
More information to come! 🌹

Today, we join our community in mourning the loss of our dear Phi Sister, Aundrea Sellars, on July 25, 2026, a member of DKG since 1978…..48 years of service and faithfulness, 🌹a beloved retired kindergarten teacher whose impact reached far beyond the classroom.

Aundrea Sellars devoted her career to nurturing young children with kindness, patience, and a deep love of teaching. Generations of students were shaped by her loving guidance and encouragement.

In retirement, she continued to serve through volunteer work, organizations, and local clubs, generously supporting Jackson County and its students. Her servant’s heart left a meaningful mark on the town she loved. ❤️

Services for Aundrea Sellars will be held on Friday, July 31, at First Baptist Church Marianna, located at 2897 Green St, Marianna, FL 32446. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Sellars and Spruce family and all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of compassion, generosity, and service will be long remembered.

I love you, Aundrea, and I already miss YOU! ❣️
