PAWS of Chinook Facebook's home to PAWS of Chinook animal shelter in Chinook, MT. Since 1994, PAWS of Chinook has assisted Blaine, Hill, Liberty Counties and beyond.

We are committed to providing a safe, loving place to land for pets looking for their forever home. We are powered by a group of volunteers who put our resident dogs first.

Appointment calls continue today. They will come from "The Rescue Rack", please answer our call and please be courteous. We have cancelled 2 signups for being nasty with us. We do not have time to answer messages, please be patient as we make our way down the list. ❤️🐾❤️

Good morning! Clinic calls continue today. We have been playing a marathon game of phone tag. Today's calls will come from The Rescue Rack instead of a restricted number. Hoping that might help!

Just 8 days away from the clinic. If you would like to volunteer, just come on down anytime. We are so busy during the event that we are unable to answer calls or messages. Come out anytime starting at 7:30 am either day and we will put you to work, no experience necessary! 🥰

Good morning and happy Tuesday, PAWS family! Since I had incredible help from the incredible Alyssa Crawford, I am ahead of the game for clinic calls!

Callbacks will start today, here is what you need to know:
*I need to speak with the person who will be bringing their pet to the clinic. Voicemails with appointment info will not be left.
*We have had about a dozen callers with either no voicemail, a full voicemail box, or voicemail that has not been set up, along with a handful of wrong numbers. If you have left a message with the shelter and have not spoken directly to us, that might be why. Call back with a clear name and phone number and we will try one more time.
*This is not a drop off clinic. Make sure you can be available for the entirety of your pets appointment. As a bonus, The Rescue Rack will be open both days for your shopping enjoyment!

Clinic time is the most stressful of the year, but also the most rewarding! We are happy to see so many responsible pet owners. We will be accepting donations at the clinic so that we can continue to bring this vital service to our area. HUGE thank you to Spay Montana for keeping this service up amidst the rising costs of EVERYTHING.

Have you seen our new webpage? 😍

I would love to say that I am creative and talented enough to have done it myself. I'm an aging woman that has completely nerded out over AI.

So the amazing thing about the new page (aside from the Hell House Hounds dressed up in thrift store finds), is that you can do EVERYTHING from one site. Visit the online shelter, make a donation, apply for a dog, AND now you can visit The Rescue Rack online!

Okay, I'm super excited about it and I wanted to wait until I had some items loaded in there, but I just couldn't wait to let everyone know. I'm so excited that we can feature hand picked amazing finds. Stay tuned, soon there will be a virtual grand opening with screaming deals! For now, please enjoy the hard work that was done by a computer :)
