Some partnerships go beyond fundraisers and events, they become part of our family. Janet Howe is one of those people!
From the moment Making Strides connected with our unit, Janet has poured her heart into supporting our young Marines. She shows up for our kids, cheers them on, and treats every single one of them like they matter, because to her, they do. That kind of love and encouragement means everything to a program built on service, discipline, and growth.
This past month, our Quartermania fundraiser, made possible through our partnership with Making Strides, raised funds that will directly support our Young Marines leadership training. But honestly, what Janet gives our unit goes so far beyond dollars. She's given our young Marines a place to serve, a cause to believe in, and a role model who reminds them why community service matters!
Janet, we see how much you care about our kids, and they feel it too. Thank you for being such an inspiration, for welcoming our Young Marines into all of your events, and for being such a genuine, caring partner to our unit. We are beyond grateful for you!
