They say love lives on in the things we plant. For Margarita Hummel, that love is in full bloom 🌼.
Meet Margarita Hummel. At 100 years young, she’s sharing a century of wisdom, a heart full of patriotism, and a 51-year journey with Salem.
In 1975, Margarita and her husband Bill opened the news paper to find a place where their daughter, Theresa, could be safe, loved, and supported. Since that Sunday morning. Salem has become more than just a residence…
it’s where the Hummel family legacy lives on.
From the Margarita’s days as a “Rosie the Riveter” during the war to the 39 years she spent staying sharp at the phone company, her strength has always been her superpower. It’s that same strength that helped her navigate decades of medical challenges, always fighting for the best care for Theresa 🫂
Today, the love is visible everywhere you look, especially in the roses at Boulder Home that Margarita’s late husband planted over 20 years ago 🌹
Margarita shares, “My daughter is safe, loved, and happy… I can have peace even after I’m gone”
Thank you for letting us be a part of your incredible story. Cheers to 100 years of resilience and advocacy 🥰
