Members of the Chino Police Department really do love serving the Chino community!

Last week investigators from the Special Enforcement Team conducted a traffic stop and found an unsecured child in the back seat of the vehicle. During a conversation with the parents, Investigators learned they have five children and were unable to afford a car seat. The couple have been struggling financially after the mother lost her job and one of their vehicles broke down. The family has been staying at local motels and were extremely emotional while sharing their story. Investigators requested assistance from the CPOA to purchase an additional car seat for the family. Investigators purchased a suitable car seat and provided it to the family. The family was extremely grateful for the assistance provided by Investigators and the CPOA.

Our Officers work very closely with Chino Valley Medical Center and we definitely appreciate the hard work they do. Members of Team 5 recognized the medical staff needed a some help today and with the help of the association they purchased drinks for a little “pick-me-up”.
