Join us December 11–13 at Prado Recreation Dog Park in Chino, CA for all testing levels.

And because we love a good early-bird deal… Register by September 30th and get $50 OFF your testing fee!

This deal is open to NAVHDA members outside our chapter as well!

It’s no secret. We’re all a little crazy here. Early mornings, muddy boots, soggy birds, rain, shine or 100 degrees, we’re training. But did you know all that work can lead somewhere, if you wanted it to?

Other than all that work building an incredible relationship with your dog, making them happier, healthier and more fulfilled— you can have all these skills tested by official NAVHDA judges.

NAVHDA testing takes all that training and gives you a path from puppy steps in NA all the way to the big national stage at the Invitational!

IE NAVHDA has had hundreds of dogs test and prize with us since our formation as a club. We’ve had dozens qualify for the Invitational, with nine earning the Versatile Champion title. We have 3 teams from our chapter attending the 2026 Invitational this September! Not too shabby for a group of dog crazy trainers and their even bird crazier pups!

What to expect at an Inland Empire NAVHDA Training Day 🐦🐾

Whether this is your very first training day or you’ve been coming for years, our goal is the same: intentional training, quality bird work, and helping both dogs and handlers improve together.

Training days are designed to give you more quality reps, more opportunities to learn, and more confidence handling your dog. From puppies seeing birds for the first time to seasoned hunting dogs polishing advanced skills, there’s a place for every team.

What a weekend at our IE NAVHDA Training Clinic!

From the basics of steadiness and force fetch all the way to the finessing details that finish a world-class bird dog, handlers walked away with a ton of knowledge to take back to the field.

There were breakthroughs, plenty of laughs, and a lot of lightbulb moments for handlers and dogs alike!

Huge thank you to William Bastian for sharing his expertise and to all of the volunteers who made this weekend possible. Our chapter couldn’t do events like this without you.

⏳ The Countdown Is On!

The NAVHDA Inland Empire Test is coming up April 24–26 and we are officially 7 weeks away! 🐾🔥

We will be testing all levels:
• NA – Natural Ability
• GDT – Gun Dog Test
• UT – Utility Test

This is a great chance to see versatile hunting dogs in action and be part of an awesome NAVHDA weekend with the community.
