EdActs Global, inc. EAG "Starts Local, Go Global!" EdActs started after a trip to Kenya and experiencing orphans with malaria and the HIV virus.

EdActs Global is a 501c3 organization which provides leadership opportunities for students as they create and conduct local and global service projects of their choosing. While sharing my travels, a 4th grade boy raised his hand and asked, “Mr., how did they get malaria?” I responded, “This orphanage didn’t have the money for mosquito netting.” At once the boy replied, “Let’s buy one and send it!”

Well, that’s it! The EdActs Global sock distribution has ended with the last 1,750 pairs of socks going to the Chino Valley CARE Closet which serves families in our area! I wish to thank everyone who assisted in this distribution especially the students who picked up the socks and delivered them to various organizations.

We are headed back to the island of Utila in 2027! Please let me know if you/and your children are interested! We wish to provide STEM, nursing, educational, and intern opportunities for all ages including undergraduates! Last visit we were able to track turtles to the island and watch them lay their eggs! Let me know if you are interested and we can start developing fundraising opportunities for the trip!

A big thank you to Nikita Ganatra Nikita Ganatra, owner of Kumon Foothill Ranch Kumon Foothill Ranch (and former student from CSUF) who collected 500 Bombas socks and will be delivering them to the funhouses in Santa Ana and children in Tustin Unified School District!
