We were delighted to welcome Balvino Avilés to FUSALMO’s facilities in El Salvador. For many years, Balvino has collaborated with FUSALMO USA, supporting our mission to create opportunities for Salvadoran youth.

During his visit on October 21, Balvino also produced a report for Telemundo featuring Team El Salvador, the team that won the gold medal in South Korea, highlighting the talent, dedication, and hard work of our young participants. 🇸🇻🏅

We are proud to share these achievements with a wider audience and to see our participants’ stories inspire others to believe in the power of education and opportunity.

We thank Balvino Avilés for his visit and for maintaining his longstanding connection with FUSALMOUSA. 💙

🏆 EL SALVADOR MADE HISTORY!

Team El Salvador from STEAM Maker Academy shined in South Korea as part of the gold-medal-winning alliance at the FIRST Global Challenge 2026. 🤖🌎

Alongside Venezuela, Uzbekistan, and the Republic of Moldova, our young participants demonstrated that talent, innovation, and teamwork can transcend borders.

At FUSALMO USA, we celebrate this achievement, which fills El Salvador with pride and highlights the incredible potential of our youth.

The future is built by creating opportunities!
