🎃 Things got a little spooky at Ranch Connections!

This week, our Anthesis participants traded horses for paper plates, scissors, markers, feathers, and a whole lot of imagination.

No two creations came out the same—and that’s exactly the point. Ranch Connections is about creating opportunities to make choices, express yourself, build confidence, connect with others, and, most importantly, have some fun doing it.

We love watching everyone put their own personality into what they create. Judging by these Halloween masterpieces, there’s definitely no shortage of personality in this group. 😂👻

🐴 Hey Glenmeade families — come spend Saturday morning with us at Rebel Ranch!

Throughout October, our Ranch Buddies program is helping support the Glenmeade Elementary PTA, with a portion of the proceeds going back to the school. ❤️

Kids get to meet our ranch animals, play games, make crafts, learn, explore, and just enjoy being kids at the ranch.

🐴 Ages 7–13 | Younger children welcome with an adult
🎃 October 31: Special Halloween Costume Contest!

We are all a work in progress.

On November 20 and 21, Cowboy Christmas at the Ranch returns for its fifth year—but this year, Christmas has a cause.

Inside the California Institution for Women, our horses are helping participants build trust, strengthen communication, practice leadership, and learn to advocate for themselves. We have watched walls come down, confidence grow, and women begin to see themselves differently.

Now we’re asking our community to help us continue that work.

Through Cowboy Christmas with a Cause, Rebel Ranch is raising $30,000:

🐴 $24,000 to continue our equine-assisted learning program at CIW
🎄 $6,000 to help bring Cowboy Christmas at the Ranch to our community

Fridays look a little different around here.

Every Friday, our friends from Anthesis come spend some time at the ranch.

Sometimes that means leading a 1,000-pound horse. Sometimes it means holding a chicken that weighs about as much as a sandwich.

Either way, there’s something pretty damn cool about watching confidence, connection and a little bit of joy show up.

No big production. No forced moments.

Just people, animals and a good Friday at the ranch.
