In the month of March, campaigns were launched within 4 nations which focused on storytelling, messaging invites and offerings of prayer. From dreams of Christ to prayer requests, many Muslims, Buddhists and Hindus heard the truth that “Jesus is Lord!”

Amid mockery, scoffing and rejection, the occasional “amen” and “Praise God” online from someone seeking the Lord is like a refreshing drop of water in a desert. Please pray that our teams will continue to be refreshed as they refresh others with the Word of God.

On February 28th, the world watched with bated breath as the U.S., along with Israel, launched air strikes against Iran. This conflict over the last 2 weeks has created international crises within humanitarian efforts, trade routes, stock markets and more, revealing how reliant the world is on crude oil and how delicate international affairs are.

With tensions rising across the globe and millions of people being displaced, killed, fear-mongered, and wandering in darkness--we are reminded how valuable our faith is and will continue to be in the days to come. In Matthew 24:6 Jesus warns, “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.” As believers, we are instructed and empowered to use the time and resources we are given to make the most of the days we have before us. Through Christ, we can bring hope and comfort to a tumultuous world—proving that the Light truly does overcome the darkness (John 1:5).

It is estimated that 83% of young people have reported seeing or being exposed to self-harm or suicidal content on social media, according to JMIR’s 2025 report. A study conducted in Romania between December 2024 and February 2025 confirmed a clear correlation between increased social media usage and symptoms of depression. There’s no question that social media holds the power to either help or harm those who engage with it—and at Ekballo U, we are committed to bringing hope, truth, and healing to those who are struggling, through the life-giving message of the Gospel.
