Our 2025 Fairest of the Fair, Allie Jo Wittman and Junior Fairest of the Fair, Clara Zastrow completed their reign yesterday after crowning the 2026 representatives. These two did an amazing job promoting the fair - they "Let the Good Times Roar! We wish them the very best in their bright futures. I am sure we will see both of them around the fair and continuing to spread their enthusiasm and passion for the Calumet County Fair.

Congratulations to Jada Wittman the 2026 Calumet County Junior Fairest of the Fair.

Jada is the daughter of Mike Wittman and Becky Wittman of Kaukauna. She is currently in the 7th Grade at Riverview Middle School. Jada is a member of the Woodville Stars 4-H Club and shows swine, chickens, arts and crafts.

Jada reflects she want to share the fun of the fair with others!

Congratulations to our 2026 Calumet County Fairest of the Fair, MaKayla Plate of Hilbert.

MaKayla is the daughter of Al and Holly Plate. She is currently a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, pursuing a degree in Education. As a member of the Sunset Lake 4-H Club, MaKayla exhibited Rabbits, Knitting and Crocheting.

MaKayla reflects "the fair brings people together, celebrates hard work, and showcases the values that make our community special".

You still have time - we are extending the deadline for application to SUNDAY, MARCH 8, 2026! We only have one application for Fairest and two for Junior Fairest - don't say "I should have" or "I could have done that" when now is the time.

We also have found that our selection date might have been a bad choice of date due to many families being gone on spring break !! Don't let that stop you from applying we have that figured out and will be doing interviews on another day for individuals who have an issue with the date.

Day 3 at the selection for the Wisconsin Fairest of the Fairs is under way for our Fairest of the Fair, Allie Jo Wittman. Last evening Allie Jo promoted her auction item. Special thanks to Gruett's of Potter for suggesting the Stihl GTA battery-powered garden pruner and to Roskoms Meats for the large selection of delicious treats.

This afternoon Allie Jo will be presenting her radio commercial to convention attendees during the Fairest of the Fair Preliminaries.
