Our church family is saddened by the passing of Mrs. Aurelia Newton, a beloved member of a family that has meant so much to our church through the years.

Mrs. Newton was the devoted wife of our former pastor, Bro. Mark Newton, and the loving mother of our former pastor, Bro. Truett Newton. Through both generations of ministry, the Newton family has been a special part of our church’s story, and Aurelia faithfully stood alongside her family with love, grace, and a heart for the Lord.

We are thankful for her life, her faith, and the many memories shared with our church family. While we grieve her passing, we find comfort in the promise we have in Christ and rejoice in knowing that for those who belong to Him, death is not the end.

Please join us in praying for Bro. Mark, Bro. Truett, and the entire Newton family in the days ahead. May the Lord surround them with His peace, comfort, and strength.

What a wonderful day of serving our community together! ❤️🚴‍♂️ 💦🍌

Today, our church family had the opportunity to volunteer at a rest stop and refreshment station for the Skittles Waco Wild West 100 bike ride! We were blessed to spend the day encouraging riders, handing out refreshments, offering a smile, and helping them recharge before getting back on the road.

There’s something special about serving alongside your church family and seeing everyone jump in wherever they’re needed. Whether it was preparing refreshments, cheering on riders, or simply offering a little encouragement, every small act was an opportunity to show the love of Christ. ❤️

We’re thankful for everyone who volunteered their time and for the opportunity to be a small part of such a great event!

What a beautiful and unforgettable day in the house of the Lord! 💙✝️

Today, we had the incredible blessing of witnessing SIX baptisms! Six people publicly declaring their faith in Jesus Christ and taking that next step in their walk with Him.

There is something so powerful about watching someone enter the baptismal waters and come up with a testimony of a life surrendered to Christ. Today was a beautiful reminder that God is still moving, hearts are still being changed, and lives are still being made new!

We celebrate each of you and pray that the Lord continues to guide you, strengthen you, and draw you closer to Him as you begin this next chapter of your journey with Christ.

Baby Dedication Sunday 💙✝️🩷

Today our FBC Church family joined together to celebrate and dedicate Chase and Lakelynn to the Lord. We affirmed the truth of Scripture, that children are a gift, wonderfully made, known by God, and created with purpose.

As a church, we pledged to support them, pray for their family, and help nurture their children’s faith.

As parents, Tyler and Abigail committed, by God’s grace, to raise their children in the knowledge of the Lord, to teach them Scripture, and to model a Christ‑centered life.

Our prayer of blessing over their home is that it would be filled with faith, hope, and love, now and always.

Today, our church family had the joy of celebrating Kayla & Tristan at their bridal shower! It was a beautiful afternoon filled with laughter, fellowship, delicious food, and so many thoughtful gifts as we surrounded this sweet couple with love and encouragement.

Thank you to everyone who helped host, decorate, prepare food, and attend. Your kindness and generosity made this day so special.

Kayla & Tristan, we are praying that God richly blesses your marriage as you begin this exciting new chapter together. May your home always be filled with faith, hope, joy, and the love of Christ.

🎓 Senior Sunday - Celebrating the Class of 2026 🎓

Today, our church family joyfully celebrates and honors the incredible Class of 2026 - Xander Nowaski, Qourtney Washington, & Kyleigh Killen!

As you reach this exciting milestone, we thank God for His faithfulness throughout your journey. We have watched you grow in wisdom, character, and faith, and we are excited to see how the Lord will continue to lead and use each of you in the years ahead.

Our prayer is that you will always remember God’s promise:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6
