The Wisconsin Department of Corrections is releasing the following information pursuant to 1995 Wisconsin Statute 301.46(2m), which authorized the Department to inform law enforcement agencies of the release of a convicted s*x offender. The Chilton Police Department evaluates the level of notification to the community for the pending release of S*x Offenders under Wisconsin Statutes 301.45 and 301.46, which authorizes law enforcement agencies to inform the public of a S*x Offender’s release, when, in the discretion of the agency, the release of information will enhance public safety, awareness and protection. The individual who appears on this notification has been convicted of a s*xual offense. Further, his criminal history places him in a classification level which reflects higher risk to the community. We want to make sure that the community remains vigilant and ensure they fully understand the seriousness of this offender.
