Say hello to our newest "seasonal employee", Nathan NAMI! Nathan says "Be the reason someone smiles today!" He is excited to bring a message about mental health wellness to our community!

Nathan is part of the Chillicothe Ross Chamber Of Commerce Downtown Scarecrow Contest! He is joined by his black cat Nadia, and his little grandson Nathan II, reminding us that Smiles can come from family, friends, pets, work, hobbies, or just being in the beautiful outdoors!

They are sitting outside our office building at the entrance to Segal Square so drive by and give them a smile and a wave! Be following the Chamber page for photos so that you can vote for Nathan NAMI!

Special thanks to the kids from the Field of Hope Community Campus for designing and making our Friendship Bench. After Nathan "retires", the bench will be placed at various locations around the region in coming months to give people a place to relax, chat, and be reminded that everyone can bring a smile to others' faces every day!

Hello all! NAMI Valley of the Sun is hosting a state training for Connection Facilitators next week. Here are the training dates below:
Thursday 09/10/2026 from 5pm-9pm MST on Zoom
Friday 09/11/2026 from 5pm-9pm MST on Zoom
Saturday 09/12/2026 from 9am-4pm MST on Zoom
