We come together like a strong storm to wreak havoc in our community
and surrounding areas on issues such as domestic violence awareness, anti-bullying, mental health awareness hunger, and cancer.

Sharing pictures of our favorite surprise visit of the year. We as a group choose some littles each year at Christmas to bless with gifts. This year we were postponed delivering to our family due to their mother getting covid. We finally were able to deliver their gifts the other night. Since covid started we have unfortunately not been able to have fund raisers, so the beautiful big hearted members of our non profit group dug deep and made this happen anyway. It was so worth it seeing the smiles on these 2 little boys faces and proving that kindness still exists in this world. The Tornadoes group was formed 12 years ago and we are made up of several local women who want to make a change in this world, no matter how big or small it may be. We are sisters not by blood but by heart 💜🌪💜

Our Story

We are The Tornadoes a nonprofit organization based out of Chillicothe, Mo. We are a group of sisters, not by blood but by heart. We are a force to be reckoned with. We come together like a strong storm to wreak havoc in our community and surrounding areas against Domestic Violence. We created our Non Profit Organization in August of 2012, after taking a short break and focusing on our own lives and families, we are back and we will be back stronger than ever before. We all share the same passion and goals to Break the Silence against Domestic Violence. Please share our page with your friends and look for a strong storm to be blowing through Chillicothe, Mo. Our goal is to let those affected by Domestic Violence know they are not alone and there is help out there. Please feel free to reach out if you are interested in being a part of what we consider to be a great cause. Always remember you do not have to be a victim, you can be the victor in the end!!
