The Livestock Selection class has been covering animal handling safety and behaviors, so what better way to test it than to let them race some rabbits through an obstacle course.

We took a short trip to Columbus to practice at the All American Quarter Horse Congress Judging contest. These girls got to practice on some very nice classes!

It's our favorite time of year! Our Annual Fruit Sale is kicking off today through Nov. 6th. We are again seling Fruit, Cheese, Meat Sticks, and Barbecue Sauce. If you need help getting into contact with an FFA member to purchase, let Mrs. Brooks know.

We got up bright and early to make it to Fredericktown for the D7 Soil Juding contest today. We had an all girls Rural Team and an all boys Urban Team.

These kids have worked hard to prep and convinced me it was worth the long trip, and I am so proud of them!

Getting outside and getting dirty makes everyone’s day more fun! Finishing it off with Los Mariachis isn’t too shabby either.
Thank you Ross Co Soil and Water for hosting practice soil pits for our students and walking them through all the steps.

Thank you to Ross Co Farm Bureau for hosting a fantastic Ag Career Day. Our students are coming home with some great SAE project ideas and career interests.

The school year is in full swing! We have a busy schedule of field trips, meetings, conventions and contests coming up. If you are interested in helping our chapter, you can sponsor a student, give a donation, help coach a CDE team, host a career field trip, or just share our stuff!
We will also be starting our Annual Fruit Sale in October, and we are adding a Spring Strawberry and Popcorn Sale.
We love our community and are excited for this year! Go Huntsmen!
