Kindness Cupboard

We have been sending food home with students and our shelves look pretty good. We have some bare spots and I know people often ask what they could donate.

Here are a few immediate needs if anyone would like to donate:

Cans of corn
Cans of green beans
Bake beans (regular size cans)
Oatmeal packets
Granola bars

Donations can be dropped off at any Huntington School entrance from 7:45-3:30. Or The Class Act on Main Street in Chillicothe from 9-4, Monday-Friday.

Thanks again to all the community support we continue to get.

Thankful to be a recipient of the Kiwanis Club of Chillicothe community grant! We will use these funds to restock the shelves as we begin the school year.

I would like to extend my gratitude to Deputy Morgan and Deputy Williamson for all their hard work putting together and running today’s benefit. That you wanted to devote your time to help our students and families is amazing!
Also, thank you to all the businesses and individuals who donated items for the Chinese auction. Finally, thank you to those that came out today to show your support.
I appreciate each and every person that had a hand in helping to raise money for the Kindness Cupboard.

Thanks to many people our shelves were over flowing in November. However, we now have many spots that we have ran out of items, that we use for our weekly packs.

If anyone would like to donate we are completely out of the following items:

Vienna sausages
Granola bars
Boxes of shells and cheese
Ramen noodles
Can chili

Thank you in advance for sharing!
Also, thanks to those who send Amazon or Walmart orders directly to the school, drop off food at school entrances, and leave items at The Class Act (49 E. Main Street), your continued support is greatly appreciated.

Next week we will be collecting items to fill our school Kindness Cupboard! Collection boxes will be outside the high school and middle school offices.
