Thank you for sharing your personal story, leadership journey, and inspiring ideas on how we can continue strengthening our mission of serving children and improving our community. Your passion for service and collaboration encouraged all of us to think bigger about the impact we can make together.

Congratulations to Southeastern High School Senior, Carson McWhorter, on being awarded a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of his outstanding efforts and dedication as a Key Club member!

We had a wonderful time at our Kiwanis meeting today! A huge thank you to Jenni Lewis, Director of Area Agency on Aging Region 7, & her staff for taking the time to speak with our group. Your insight, knowledge, and passion for supporting aging individuals in our community truly made an impact.

We appreciate you helping us better understand the resources available. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us—we’re grateful for the connection and conversation!

Thank you to all of our Kiwanis members, friends, and family who volunteered to work Check Point #1 of the Buck Fifty Race this weekend. It was warm, but as always, we enjoyed visiting with the runners and volunteers, and supporting Drug Free Schools.

Today was a great day at Chillicothe Intermediate School! 🍦🐞

A huge thank you to our Kiwanis Club members for spending time with students during the BUG (Bringing Up Grades) program. Your encouragement and support make such a meaningful difference in helping students stay motivated and proud of their progress.

And a special shoutout to Dairy Queen for generously donating sundaes to celebrate these students’ hard work—what a sweet way to recognize their achievements!

We appreciate the continued partnership in lifting up our local youth and celebrating their success!

The Chillicothe Kiwanis Club was honored to welcome Kathryn Metz from the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel as our guest speaker today!

Kathryn shared valuable insight into the role her office plays in advocating for Ohio utility consumers, as well as helpful information on energy resources, consumer protections, and programs available to residents.

We appreciate her time and the important work she does to educate and support our communities. Thank you, Kathryn, for joining us!

Today at Kiwanis, we had the pleasure of welcoming guest speaker Travis Hess, who shared about his new non-profit, We Are All Buds Inc. Their mission is simple but incredibly meaningful—providing beds for kids in need so every child has a safe and comfortable place to sleep.
