Join us this Saturday evening for our annual lighting ceremony in beautiful Simpson Park.
We’ve got a little something for everyone.
Cookseys kettle corn will be there with their famous sweet and salty goodness!
Corporal Blues food truck will be there with delicious treats!
Hayrides through the park for only $1
And yes… Santa will be there!!!!!
Bring your family, bring your friends and come help us countdown together as we light the whole place up with holiday magic!
It’s one of our favorite traditions and we can’t wait to share it with you all🎄❤️

Several members of Cornerstone Church came out to set up our Nativity in the park. They’ve done their for several years now, and we appreciate their contribution to the Festival of Lights will.

Chillicothe’s Culture Club provided a wonderful array of snacks for our volunteers the past two Wednesdays. We had cookies, cinnamon rolls, brownies, chocolate covered pretzels, cuties, and granola bars! Our group of hard working, dedicated volunteers enjoyed it all! Thank you Culture Club!

🎅🏻Huge shout out to the one and only Janet Barnhart 🎅🏻

From all of us at Festival of Lights, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible Janet Barnhart- the heart and driving force behind so many of our volunteer groups!🤩

Janet gives countless hours of her time to our park making sure every detail shines bright! But what makes her truly special is the way she leads- with kindness, patience and a genuine desire to make sure everyone gets a chance to be part of the magic!

She is not only an outstanding leader and mentor , but a truly wonderful person , her example inspires all of us!!

Thank you Janet for everything you do to make our park and community a brighter place!!

The Career Independence classes came out last week. They checked light stands, checked and replaced bulbs on several display pieces, put lights on bushes, and put lights on one of our artificial trees. Their hard work was greatly appreciated!

Your old artificial Christmas trees and outdoor reindeer deserve a second sleigh ride! The lights don’t need to work- we’ll bring the magic back! Any donations will be greatly appreciated! You can drop off at the gray building at Simpson park!🎄🎄
