It's SHOW DAY!!!!!!
🍂 Nothing like a chilly October morning to load up the trailer and head to the Ross Co Fair Grounds!
⬆️↗️ Be sure to follow the Steer Show signs to the back entrance. The first entrance is for the motocross and they will charge you!
⚖️ Weigh-In will begin at 8am and end promptly at 10am to prepare the show bill for our 11am Showmanship Classes.

Just like last October there is another event happening at the Ross County Fairgrounds tomorrow. Please follow the signs below to the entrance at the back of the fairgrounds. If you try to enter the front gate, the other event will try to charge you a gate fee.

Also, please stay within the yellow caution tape with your trucks and trailers.

🌟We would like to introduce and welcome our judge for this weekend, Austin Garner. 🌟

Austin was born and raised in Hamilton, Ohio, where his passion for the livestock industry began at an early age. Growing up fitting and showing cattle, Austin competed at local, state and national levels, developing a strong foundation in both livestock evaluation and the show cattle industry.

After graduating high school, Austin continued his education at Illinois Central College, where he was a member of the livestock judging team. During his time at Illinois Central, he earned High Individual honors at both the National Barrow Show and Iowa Beef Expo contests, while also earning Top 10 finishes at the National Western Stock Show and North American Livestock Expo. Austin graduated with an Associate of Science degree before continuing his education at Iowa State University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science.

While at Iowa State, Austin continued competing on the livestock judging team, earning Top 10 honors at the National Barrow Show, National Western Stock Show and Iowa Beef Expo. His experiences through livestock judging, along with years spent in the show ring, have helped shape his approach to evaluating cattle, developing programs and working with junior exhibitors.

Today, Austin serves as a Forage Territory Sales Manager for Vermeer, covering Ohio, Indiana and portions of Kentucky. Outside of his professional career, Austin and his wife, Cayley, operate Garner Show Cattle in Southwest Ohio, where they are focused on building a program centered around quality cattle, strong fundamentals and helping junior exhibitors succeed in and out of the show ring.

Through both his career and the cattle operation, Austin remains committed to the livestock industry and to helping the next generation develop a passion for agriculture, competition and the cattle business. He is thankful to be here today!

MeMe's Custom Embroidery will be on site Saturday pressing custom shirts. You get to choose your size, style, and color. They always have a huge selection to choose from.

The Ross County Farm Bureau will be set up inside the show arena serving food. In the past they have had:
