Cuddles with Kindness® aims to provide comfort to children facing traumatic situations through cuddly stuffed animals while amplifying our goal to inspire kindness and compassion, no matter your age!

This month we are still collecting donations for Project Sleep Tight! Project Sleep Tight® serves children who are going through homelessness, foster care, children’s homes, crisis centers and similar situations. We want to help ease the fear in these children by providing them with a stuffed animal, book, bag and blanket. These kids deserve a normal bed time routine and something they can call their own.

Children in foster care often are left with very little to call their own. As youth come into care caseworkers quickly gather the child and as much as they can in a few short minutes. This a lot of times means kids come with the clothes they have on and a small grocery bag of belongings. These children enter care due to no fault of their own and they need our love and support. They need to know someone cares, that there are good adults you can trust and that the world is not always a scary place. We help bridge them into care by providing caseworkers and foster families a Cuddles with Kindness ® Project Sleep Tight ® bag. This bag includes a cuddly friend, blanket, hygiene items and so much more. It includes love and kindness to a child who desperately need it.

Project Sleep Tight® serves children who are going through homelessness, foster care, children’s homes, crisis centers and similar situations.

American Institute for Research has found that 1 out 30 children will suffer from homelessness in 2018.

In Peoria, IL as of May 2025 678 kids are in foster care in Peoria County alone.
​
We want to help ease the fear in these children by providing them with a stuffed animal, book, bag and blanket. These kids deserve a normal bed time routine and something they can call their own.

Now until the end of October help us in providing 500 Sleep Tight Bags to kids right here in Central Illinois! This year
we have many different ways you can support us.

As many schools head back this week we want to wish you the best school year ever! No matter what this school year brings always remember it’s better to be the nice kid! In 20 years no one will remember what you wore, the points you scored or even the grades you got. However, they will always remember how you made them feel and how you treated them. So be the nice kid and rock this 2026-2027 school year! 💕
