May is Mental Health Awareness Month—a time to recognize the importance of mental health in every stage of life.

At the Ross County Su***de Prevention Coalition (RCSPC), we are committed to raising awareness, reducing stigma, and connecting individuals and families to the support they need. Mental health matters every day, and no one should have to face challenges alone.

This month, we encourage our community to check in—with yourself and with those around you. A conversation, a moment of support, or a connection to resources can make a meaningful difference.

Together, we can build a stronger, more supportive community where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

Today we came together for the Connection for Life 5K Walk/Run—an event created to raise awareness and support for su***de prevention.

We are so grateful to our sponsors, as well as New City Church and the Zane Trace Hope Squad, for helping make today such a smooth and meaningful experience. A special thanks also goes to Mayor Luke Feeney and his family for joining us and showing their support.

Congratulations to our top 3 male (Seth Holbert 1st, Keegan McCoy 2nd, and Jourdan Enmen 3rd) and top 3 female ( Karen Jenkins 1st, Robin Rippeth 2nd, and Katie Ballenger 3rd) winners! 🏅 And a heartfelt thank you to every participant who showed up in support of su***de prevention—your presence helps strengthen hope and connection in our community.
