I know this is a longshot, but here it goes ……. we are now accepting donations for canned items that folks can eat without having to necessarily heat up. I have recently been asked for food items. People are hungry out here and they don’t have a way to cook their food. The food pantries are great. Don’t get me wrong but often sometimes they give out items that have to be cooked and some folks have no way to cook. Facebook tells me to keep posts short it gets more views. Well it is hard when you feel deeply for the folks who are outside and there are inches of snow on the ground! Socks is so small but my heart hurts to know folks are out here cold! This is just a reminder to be kind. You don’t know what someone might be going through or has been through! We are all humans and if we don’t care for each other then we are doing it wrong! That is my opinion and I stand by it!
