🧦❤️ WE’RE HALFWAY THROUGH SOCKTOBER! ❤️🧦

A huge thank you to everyone who has already supported First Capital Rotary’s Socktober drive! Your generosity is helping us collect items that will make a real difference for people in our community.

We’re still collecting NEW:
🧦 Socks
🩲 Underwear
🧤 Gloves
🧣 Scarves
🧢 Hats
🧴 Hygiene items

There’s still plenty of time to help! If you’re out shopping this month, consider picking up an extra package of socks or another needed item and donating it to Socktober.

It may seem like a small gift, but to someone who needs it, it can mean so much. 💙

Thank you, Ross County, for always showing up for your community!

We had a wonderful meeting filled with fellowship, learning, and some exciting new connections!

A big thank you to our guest speakers, Keanon and Julia Montgomery of Ignite Runners Collective, for joining us and sharing more about the work they’re doing in our community. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We were also excited to welcome Neysea Dixon from Kappa Delta Phi National Education Honor Society at OUC as a visitor!

And a very special WELCOME TO FIRST CAPITAL ROTARY to our newest member, Jimmy (James) Hughes! 🎉 We’re thrilled to have you officially join us and look forward to all the ways you’ll contribute to our club and community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning—these are the mornings that remind us why Service Above Self matters. 💙💛

We had such an exciting morning together, filled with fellowship, laughter, and great conversation! A huge thank you to Myranda McBee for leading fellowship this morning and for treating us to a delicious fall breakfast spread. 🧡☕️🍎

Myranda even put us to the test with a little quiz on our local park districts — a fun way to learn more about our community while seeing just how much (or how little 😉) we know!

There’s nothing quite like starting the day surrounded by good people, good food, and an opportunity to learn something new. We’re grateful for mornings like these and for the friendships that make our Rotary family so special! 🍁💙

🍂 SOCKTOBER IS HERE! 🧦

First Capital Rotary is excited to kick off Socktober — a month-long effort to help our community stay warm as the colder months approach! ❤️

Throughout the entire month of October, we are collecting NEW socks, underwear, hats, gloves, scarves, and hygiene items to help local individuals and families in need.

Every donation, big or small, can make a difference. We would absolutely LOVE to have our community come together and support this effort! 🧦🧤🧣

📍 Donations can be made throughout October.
💛 Cash donations are also welcome to help support the cause.

If you’d like to donate or have questions, please contact Carlee Preston at (740) 703-5583 or [email protected].

Let’s help our community stay warm this fall! ❤️
