Make sure you stop in today and Monday to send off Ethan! ☕️

We are so proud of him as he begins this next chapter as a licensed social worker! Newly graduated, boards passed, and headed into his career field — we couldn’t be more excited for him. 🎉

This is an article that was published in the Mead Reporter in June of 1955. Our organization was originally chartered in 1914 as The Welfare House by Col. Richard Enderlin. The main services provided then were work shoes and medical needs, including a traveling nurse. In 1972 the name was changed to The Assistance House. Today we are the longest running charitable non-profit in Ross County. We help low-income, working-class friends and neighbors.
