Enjoy this throwback to 2016!
We may not be a crew anymore but a servants heart is something I know we all still have in common. Community Needs Agency has reached out to me to let me know that Christmas Baskets will be taking place Saturday the 19th at Three Sisters Park. Time is still to be determined and I'm not sure what this year will look like but I wanted to share the information in case you needed something to fill your Saturday with.

Have you or your youth thought about joining a Venture Crew group? Well act now, Crew 91 is recruiting youth and adults for their 2019 year. If you like camping, bowling, rock climbing, caving, volunteering in your community, and hanging out with friends scouting is for you.

Did your scouting unit have a trip planned to the breath taking Philmont Scout Ranch? Well we did, and we couldn't feel worse for all that has happened to the ranch. We are currently trying to put together a short trip to do in it's place. Does your unit have any great suggestions on how to handle a big event change like this?

Amtrak to Philmont! Taking the train is always an added bonus to the Philmont trek experience, we cannot wait for our group to get the full experience this year.

Thanks to a new federal grant, the Amtrak Southwest Chief will continue transporting Scouts to Philmont Scout Ranch for the foreseeable future.

Packing for large adventures can be daunting but luckily Philmont scout Ranch has it down to a science. After 75 years they have perfected the items our crew needs to enjoy two weeks in the back country. We are looking forward to an amazing adventure in 2018.

Chillicothe Venture Crew 91 this week at the TOWN is our " Double Bonus Week" which means if we collect 30 full priced ticket stubs we'll get an extra dollar for everyone. Please consider attending the movies this Tuesday through Sunday. We're a small group and we need your help to make a difference. Plus the Chillicothe Town Theatre is a great place to check out.
