The Ross County NAACP awarded the 2026 Robert J. Robinson Sr. Scholarship to Mr. Nathaniel Scissum, Mr. Cooper Stoneking, and Ms. Keagan Willison, each receiving $1800.00. Although Ms. Willison was not present, we extend our congratulations and best wishes to all recipients as they continue their academic journey.

Reminder: Voting for the Primary Election is TODAY!

The Voter Awareness Committee is informing voters that in person voting for the Ohio Primary Election is TODAY. Voting hours are between 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. If you need information on polling locations or any accommodation needs, please visit the Ohio Secretary of State’s website. To view a sample ballot, please click here and enter your home address. Join us and make your plan to vote if you haven't yet!

Election Day Voting: Polls are open Today from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

REMEMBER: If you opted for a paper ballot and have not mailed it back yet, you will need to return it to the Voter Registration Office IN PERSON TODAY BY 7:30, or it will not be counted.

Carver Community Center Summer Camp is back! Join us May 25 – August 17 for a full summer of exploring, learning, and connecting right here in Chillicothe.

We serve children from 10 months through 13 years old, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Our caring, trained staff provide onsite meal service, a fenced‑in playground, STEM activities, pool days, outdoor water play, and field trips—all in a safe, nurturing environment.
