Mrs. Lorene Washington, a phenomenal woman and beacon in our community, has passed on. She was a shining example of love, embodied in her roles as wife, mother, sister, aunt, educator, guidance counselor, business owner, civic leader, and friend, all guided by her faith. Her love for this community was met with love and respect, and her absence will be deeply felt. On behalf of the Ross County NAACP and WIN, we extend our heartfelt sympathies to her family.
