The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind as our volunteers have put in countless hours moving into the new hall. This weekend was no exception.

We had just moved our trucks in and were about to sit down for some much-needed lunch when the pagers went off. In true volunteer fashion, we dropped everything, half-eaten pizza left on the counter and floor, to respond to the call.

Being a volunteer means putting your community first, no matter the time, place, or circumstance. We’re proud to serve, and we thank every volunteer for their dedication and sacrifice.

Today, we officially moved our trucks into the new fire station! This milestone marks the beginning of a new chapter in serving our community. This facility represents the hard work and dedication of our firefighters and first responders, our families, community members, and many supporters who made this dream a reality.

We’re excited to begin official operations out of the new Fire Station. The work isn't over yet! Over the next month or so, we'll be busy moving in non-essential items, receiving additional furniture and supplies, hooking up the rest of our technology, and starting preparations for our Ribbon Cutting and Open House!

We can't wait to welcome everyone to tour the new fire station and community center while we celebrate this incredible milestone as a community. We hope to see you there!

Also a reminder that Township of Fremont residents are required to call either the town chairman or fire chief for a burning permit. Then it is highly recommended to contact Clark County dispatch to let them know that you will be burning.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by the fire in Loyal Thursday night. Below are the updated lists of items needed and ways to help financially.
Our Truck 1 was paged out at approximately 9:30pm to provide a fill site. She proved what she can do that's for sure! Filling approximately 150 tenders, often 2 at a time, allowing 2 arial trucks to spray water at the same time!
