Our Story

Nicanor is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit focused on feeding children & families struggling with food insecurity. We send food bags home with over 250 elementary school kids every week in 12 different schools and feed hungry and homeless folks three days a week. We are supported with grants and donations from people who believe in our work.

We strive to express the love of Christ to all, so that they may "be warm and be fed" (James 2:16). We believe that every man, woman, and child is created in the image of God, and we strive to reach out to them with love, mercy, compassion, and hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
