JUDGE SPOTLIGHT!
Jess Shields

Jesse is a 28 year old currently residing in Amarillo, Texas with his wife Karah and son Corbyn. As a family they co-own and operate both IDK and End Game Genetics. IDK is about a 70 sow showpig operation consisting mainly of crossbred sows with a few Durocs, spots, and Berks mixed in. End Game Genetics is solely the Boar Stud side and currently consists of 5 mature Crossbred Boars and 1 Duroc, with more on the way.

Like his two brothers before him he showed swine and cattle competitively throughout his 10 year show career, and quickly discovered the pig barn is where he desired to spend most of his time. Following this he was a member of the National winning Livestock Judging team at Blinn College. Making multiple top ten appearances as an individual.

Following college he worked at a few different businesses all stemming back to ties in the youth livestock industry. Most recently he served as a herdsman at Brockman farms in Montgomery Texas before pursuing his dream of starting a firm of his own to further his involvement in an industry he is truly passionate about.
