Childress High School student Inani Bhoja recently attended Texas FCCLA June Leadership Training as the newly elected Texas FCCLA State Vice President of Projects.

As one of only 15 state officers elected across Texas, Inani spent the week collaborating with fellow state officers to develop programs, recognition systems, and leadership experiences that will serve thousands of FCCLA members during the 2026-2027 year.

Throughout training, Inani worked with the State Projects Committee to review statewide project programs, develop recognition plans, prepare conference materials, create promotional resources, and coordinate communications for participating chapters. She also helped select National Programs to be highlighted during the upcoming year and contributed to planning how student achievements will be recognized at the Texas FCCLA State Leadership Conference.

Known for her strong work ethic, thoughtful leadership, and ability to turn ideas into action, Inani’s role allows her to utilize strategic thinking, collaboration, leadership, and initiative to help shape programs that will impact FCCLA members across Texas. She worked alongside fellow officers to evaluate statewide projects, improve recognition opportunities, and create experiences designed to inspire student involvement and achievement.

We are incredibly proud of Inani and the leadership she continues to demonstrate. Her dedication and vision will help shape the experiences of FCCLA members throughout Texas during the coming year.

❤️ Congratulations, Inani!

Childress High School student Zoe Detwiler recently attended Texas FCCLA June Leadership Training as the newly elected Region I Vice President of Public Relations.

As one of only 55 region officers selected across Texas, Zoe joined fellow student leaders from around the state to prepare for a year of leadership, service, and member engagement.

Throughout the week, Zoe worked with the State and Region Public Relations Committees to develop plans that will enhance communication, recognition, and member involvement at Region and State leadership conferences during the 2026-2027 year. Her committee reviewed recognition programs, developed conference engagement strategies, planned social media initiatives, and created resources designed to connect FCCLA members across the region.

As Region I Vice President of Public Relations, Zoe’s role combines leadership, communication, design, photography, social media, and storytelling to help showcase the accomplishments and experiences of FCCLA members across the region. During training, she helped develop promotional strategies, create communication resources, plan interactive activities, and establish systems to recognize and celebrate student achievement.

Known for her creativity, eye for design, and ability to connect with others, Zoe is helping shape how Texas FCCLA communicates, celebrates success, and engages members throughout the coming year.

❤️ Congratulations, Zoe!

🌟 Two Childress FCCLA members are among only 70 student officers selected statewide to serve Texas FCCLA during the 2026-2027 year!

Childress High School students Zoe Detwiler and Inani Bhoja recently attended Texas FCCLA June Leadership Training, where they joined fellow student leaders from across the state to prepare for a year of service, leadership, and advocacy.

Each year, Texas FCCLA elects just 70 officers statewide—55 region officers and 15 state officers—to represent more than 20,000 members across Texas. Following their election, officers attend an intensive week of leadership training to develop the skills needed to lead their chapters, regions, and state organization.

Throughout the week, Zoe and Inani participated in workshops covering leadership development, communication, professionalism, advocacy, parliamentary procedure, public speaking, workshop facilitation, event planning, and organizational leadership. They collaborated with fellow officers to develop statewide initiatives, plan future conferences and leadership events, and create resources that will impact FCCLA members throughout Texas.

The training also included team-building activities, strategic planning sessions, committee work, business meetings, and presentations focused on helping officers effectively represent FCCLA in their schools and communities.

We are incredibly proud of Zoe and Inani for representing Childress FCCLA and our community at the state level. Their dedication to leadership and service will help strengthen opportunities for FCCLA members across Texas during the upcoming year.

Please join us in congratulating these outstanding student leaders! ❤️
