Our Story

Uncle Dad's Art Collective was formally founded in November of 2013 as a collaborative venture between musicians, writers, actors, dancers, and visual artists. Since its conception, the collective has produced 9 large scale theatrical and musical shows, monthly mixed media art events, curated live-in-studio performance series, and countless other events. UDAC aims to help foster a culture of theater, music, dance, and other performing arts within Chico – a relaxed, comfortable, inspiring atmosphere where hard-working artists can gather to explore their craft and express themselves freely. Our mission is to realize the artistic ideas of our members and collaborators in a way that makes significant positive impacts – artistically and fiscally – for the individual, the collective, and the community.
