Hello! Read below for Downtown Art Tour News! You may have noticed in 2026 we have not hosted any Free Downtown Public Walking Tours. We miss it terribly but have been refreshing our tour programming and tour guide leadership. We look forward to welcoming visitors back this fall for a limited schedule of tours in October. And we are always open to host private tours for your group.
Meanwhile, we have posted our tours VIRTUALLY on our website for you to enjoy at ANY TIME with the voice of our president and tour guide Mary Gardner. The guide can be downloaded and printed, or followed on your phone with a small map and transcripts. (We will soon by providing brochure maps at the DCBA Office in Downtown Chico)
Just start at “Our Hands” and have “Virtual Mary” guide you on the tour. Let us know how it works too, we are always updating our public art database online and our website functionality.
