Story time :
So I have to share what happened at Walmart today because it’s always good to remind ourselves that there are still kind people in the world.😊
I got to Walmart when it opened and right when I walked in there was a clearance rack full of women’s bras and underwear. Everything was only $1.00ea.. including the expensive 3 pack of women’s underwear! To make a long story short, I snagged every single plus size for a project I’m planning to distribute free to homeless and women in crisis.
Of course they only had one register open besides the self check out and I had done my other shopping as well so my whole entire cart was full and I had already let two people in front of me so it was taking forever to ring up all my stuff, and I felt bad because there was a huge line forming down the aisle of Walmart🤨
There was these two older women that didn’t know each other that we’re talking behind me about running in to get one thing and ending up with a bunch of things..and my nosey “extra” self chimed in and said “yeah look at my damage” and when she found out what I was doing with all that stuff, she said, “oh my gosh..that’s amazing..thank you so much for what you’re doing. I feel blessed to have been behind you in line meeting you and seeing this. I just think that what you’re doing is a wonderful blessing ..I want you to have this” and she pulled out a $20 bill and gave it to me. I tried to refuse it, but she insisted because she wanted to be a part of what I was doing. 🥰
It was such a random and compassionate interaction and we ended up talking the whole time. I wish I would’ve got her name and number because even though she’s probably 10 years older than me I really felt a “human” connection and such positive energy.
I told her I was pretty sure she was an Empath just like me and she hadn’t heard of it before and said she was excited to get home so she could look it up ☺️
Us weirdo Empaths always find each other in the darndest places out in the wild. 🤪 Lol. It’s crazy how we’re drawn to that energy once we become aware that we have it.
