More than 80 organizations are coming together to protect the investments that make California more affordable, accessible, and sustainable.

We appreciate the Senate’s leadership in proposing supplemental funding for critical Tier 3 programs. At the same time, more work remains to fully fund affordable housing and transit and uphold the commitments made last year.

Our coalition is ready to work with state leaders on a long-term solution that protects these investments—and the Californians who depend on them.

California’s Tier 3 programs are delivering real results—from affordable housing and better transit to cleaner air, safer drinking water, and climate benefits.

That’s why we’re proud to stand with a coalition of more than 80 organizations calling for these investments to be protected.

The Senate proposal is an important step forward, responding to the urgent need to protect Tier 3 programs with supplemental funding for LCTOP, AB 617, SAFER, and SB 125, among other priorities.

But more work remains. We’re urging the Legislature and Governor to work together to honor those commitments and establish a permanent funding solution for Tier 3.
