A no-kill, 100% volunteer-run, feline-friendly cat shelter dedicated to rescuing, providing care and love, and rehoming abandoned domesticated cats in Chico, CA. We are a non-profit, no kill and all-volunteer organization previously with a mission to rescue and rehome abandoned and surrendered adoptable cats in the greater Chico area. When we were founded in 1997, our goal was to rescue, house, an

d rehome the very large cat colony in lower Bidwell Park. Over the years, we removed over 1000 cats from the park, and have adopted out over 700 cats. These rescues benefit the cats and the people of Chico who use and enjoy the park. Had these cats not been trapped and altered, the feline population in that area would have grown tremendously over the last decade, leading to an unhealthy and hazardous situation for all. They want to see pictures of all the beloved cats living their best lives in their forever homes. They’re hoping to get a little glimpse of what life might be like when they finally have a home of their own—with cozy naps, favorite people, sunny windows, comfy beds, and ALL the love.

Marshmallow is available for adoption!!!!! This darling 10 year old boy is SO ready for a family to snuggle him and love him and give him all the attention he deserves.

Meet little Novalina! This sweetie is about 7 years old, and the biggest treat monster you ever did meet. 😻 Her owner was 93 and loved her very much but could not care for her anymore, so she came to us to find a new furrrever home.

She is a lynx point/tabby point kitty, very soft with a beautiful coat. Nova loves to snooze in a cat tower, but also enjoys playtime with toys and brushing. And of course, posing for the camera eith those beautiful blue peepers! 👀

🌟✨ A New Hope... Has Been Found! ✨🌟

The Force was definitely strong with this one! 💙🐾

We're over the moon to announce that Princess Leia has officially left the Rebel Alliance of shelter life and embarked on her greatest adventure yet—with her new human, Mark! 🛸❤️

No more battling the Dark Side for this princess. Instead, she'll be ruling her new kingdom with the wisdom of a Jedi, the confidence of a senator, and, we're sure, just a tiny bit of sassy princess attitude. 👑😸

Congratulations to Mark and Princess Leia on finding each other. May your days be filled with purrs, cuddles, catnip, and may the Force be with you... always. ⭐
