Chico Cat Coalition OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! 😸 Send us an email or message on Facebook! We currently have approximately 60 adoptable cats living in our shelter.

A no-kill, 100% volunteer-run, feline-friendly cat shelter dedicated to rescuing, providing care and love, and rehoming abandoned domesticated cats in Chico, CA. We are a non-profit, no kill and all-volunteer organization previously with a mission to rescue and rehome abandoned and surrendered adoptable cats in the greater Chico area. When we were founded in 1997, our goal was to rescue, house, and rehome the very large cat colony in lower Bidwell Park. Over the years, we removed over 1000 cats from the park, and have adopted out over 700 cats. These rescues benefit the cats and the people of Chico who use and enjoy the park. Had these cats not been trapped and altered, the feline population in that area would have grown tremendously over the last decade, leading to an unhealthy and hazardous situation for all. Open by appointment only! Please send us a message to meet our kitties!

Auction week is one of the most exciting parts of the year, but behind all the cat baskets and jewelry, there are real kitties waiting for something money can’t buy: a home of their own. ❤️

Every cat in our care has a story. Every one of them lost the home they once knew. And now, they’re waiting. Waiting for someone to choose them. To love them.

Until that day comes, it's up to us to feed them, love them, keep them safe, and care for them. And that's why this auction matters so much. It’s our biggeat findraoser of the year and we need every single dolllar to help these cats.

Every cat pictured here needs a home.
Please bid, donate, or share as much as you can so they can get a second chance at a furrrever family.
