Having fostered and adopted many types of animals for over a decade, I realized that there was an urgent need for an organization that could bring caring people together with loving animals that needed a home. ad truth is that most of the dogs and cats that end up in shelters are killed. This is because they usually only keep animals for 3-5 days, while it may take a month or more to find a home for them. This is where fostering comes in, and it is though fostering that we can make the biggest impact in saving lives. Working with existing rescue organizations, our goal is to recruit and train people who are willing to take in companion animals until those animals can find their forever home. We do this through building a database of animal rescue organizations, animal shelters, and foster volunteers. Shelters and Rescuers can then use our database to find local volunteers.
