Companion Animal Foster Coalition

Companion Animal Foster Coalition Companion Animal Foster Coalition is an approved CA public benefit nonprofit corporation. Thank you for your interest in the Companion Animal Foster Coalition!

We are a California Public Benefit Nonprofit Corporation, dedicated to connecting people and companion animals through fostering. Having fostered and adopted many types of animals for over a decade, I realized that there was an urgent need for an organization that could bring caring people together with loving animals that needed a home. While animal shelters try to adopt out their animals, the s

ad truth is that most of the dogs and cats that end up in shelters are killed. This is because they usually only keep animals for 3-5 days, while it may take a month or more to find a home for them. This is where fostering comes in, and it is though fostering that we can make the biggest impact in saving lives. Working with existing rescue organizations, our goal is to recruit and train people who are willing to take in companion animals until those animals can find their forever home. We do this through building a database of animal rescue organizations, animal shelters, and foster volunteers. Shelters and Rescuers can then use our database to find local volunteers. I hope you will join me in doing all we can to save our companion animals. Thank you for your support!

This is Bobby, and he's ready to find his forever home. He is about 20 months old, does well with dogs and wants to play with other cats. He had a rough start in life but he's learned to trust people now. If you are interested in giving this love bug a home please let us know. If you are unable to, then please share. He is currently fostered in Paradise.

Meet little Miss Kami, a 5 yr old cream and silver female Cairn Terrier mix that weighs about 10 lbs. Kami is cute as a bug. These pictures do not do her justice. She is sweet, and very loving. She will cuddle with you and give lots of kisses. She is smart as a whip and responds well to voice commands. She would catch on quick to obedience and/or agility training. She gets along with other dogs and has not been tested with cats. Kami is a very special girl and deserves just the right forever home.

MacKenzie Flanagan debuted on Chico's Action News Now's 'Pet of the Week' segment with June today! This sweet dilute calico girl and her sister Sissy are up for adoption! Their current family loves them so much, but is having to give them up due to allergy complications with their new baby. Both of these cats are dog, cat, and kid friendly and want nothing but snuggles.
