Finding healthcare scholarships shouldn't mean searching dozens of websites. That's why the North Valley Health Education Foundation created a free, regional directory to help students discover healthcare-specific scholarship opportunities throughout Northern California's North Valley.

Whether you're pursuing a career in nursing, medicine, allied health, emergency medical services, or another healthcare profession, this growing resource connects you with scholarship opportunities from NVHEF and partner organizations across our region.

We're just getting started, and we'll continue expanding the directory as we identify additional scholarship opportunities and community partners.

Behind the scenes at NVHEF today — scholarship interviews have begun!

Our board members are reviewing applications, notes, and student materials as they prepare to meet this year’s finalists. These conversations are one of the most meaningful parts of our work because they give us the chance to learn more about the students behind the applications — their goals, their dedication, and their commitment to healthcare.

We are grateful to our board volunteers for the time and care they bring to this process, and we look forward to celebrating this year’s scholarship recipients soon.

Congratulations and thank you to our spring public health intern, Mariah Molina!

Mariah has been a wonderful part of NVHEF this season, helping us strengthen student communication and bring more visibility to scholarship opportunities for future healthcare professionals in our region.

This year’s scholarship cycle made one thing clear: the need for healthcare education support is strong. More than 100 students began the process, and 39 submitted completed applications for consideration.

As we prepare for interviews, we are grateful for Mariah’s time, talent, and student-centered perspective. Congratulations again, Mariah, and thank you for helping us support the next generation of healthcare professionals.
