September marks the start of Deaf Awareness Month! 💙🤟

This month is an opportunity to celebrate Deaf culture, recognize the incredible Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, and remind ourselves that accessibility and inclusion matter every day—not just this month.

Deaf awareness means learning, listening, advocating, and creating spaces where everyone has the opportunity to communicate, connect, and feel included. Whether it’s learning some sign language, making communication more accessible, or simply taking the time to understand Deaf experiences, small actions can make a big difference.

Here’s to celebrating Deaf voices, breaking down barriers, and building a more inclusive world. 💙

Join us for this unforgettable weekend!

An opportunity to lead with purpose, network, engage in identity, leadership and belonging workshops to support your student development. Food, lodging and transportation provided.

Diversity Summit will take place Friday, October 2nd through Sunday, October 4th at Camp McCumber in Shingletown, CA. Transportation, lodging and food provided!
