Our Pleasant Lane project is speeding along! She’s a beauty, isn’t she?

Huge shoutout to our friends at CED, who generously donated all of the electrical supplies for both our Maxwell and Pleasant Lane home builds.

Their support has saved the Foundation roughly $4,000 per project, allowing us to invest more resources into hands-on workforce training.

And just like that…. We have TRUSSES! Our trainees are learning one of the coolest parts of home construction - rolling and setting trusses.
Have you ever seen this phase? We all agree, it’s one of the most impressive.
Stay tuned and you’ll see what happens after these trusses are rolled and Pleasant is ready for its roof!

About a year and half ago the deck at the lake house was severely damaged when a stolen vehicle was used to take out one whole corner.

When the PRPD team reached out to us, we were thrilled to help. Instructor Bill Norton and two of our trainees built this incredible deck over the course of a week.

Isn’t she a beauty? Instructor Bill said it was like a work vacation building in this incredible location. 🤩
