🌸 Addie! 🌸 Addie is growing up fast and turning into one incredibly sweet little girl! At nearly 5 months old and 20 pounds, this beautiful Pit Bull mix is ready to find the loving family she’s been waiting for.

🐶💗 With her beautiful brown eyes, adorable black nose, and sweet expression, Addie will capture your heart—but it’s her gentle personality that makes her truly special. Addie is submissive, sensitive, and very in tune with the people around her. She isn’t the puppy who needs to be the center of attention or the one bouncing off the walls. She can be a little cautious with new experiences and does best when she is given patience, reassurance, and the opportunity to take things at her own pace. Because of her sensitive nature, we believe a quieter household with soft-spoken, gentle people would be her ideal match. Addie would thrive with someone who understands that confidence is built through kindness, consistency, and trust—not pressure. Once she feels safe and comfortable, her sweet personality really begins to shine.

💕 She enjoys exploring and experiencing new things, but she appreciates having a calm person beside her to let her know everything is okay. She would love a family who will continue helping her build confidence while giving her the security and stability she needs to flourish. Addie is still a puppy, so her forever family should be prepared for continued training, patience, structure, and plenty of positive reinforcement. Remember this scruffy, goofy little guy? ❤️ Huck is back with Bully Smiles Inc. and looking for a family to call his own!

At 6 months old, Huck is fully vetted, full of life, and ready for his next chapter. His return was a mutual decision made with his best interests at heart. Sometimes, despite everyone’s best intentions, a puppy’s needs and a family’s lifestyle just aren’t the right match. And that’s okay! What matters now is finding Huck the home where he can truly thrive.

And his DNA? A fun surprise! 🧬 Huck is a Pit Bull and Goldendoodle mix, with some distant Great Pyrenees in the mix, too! He may not look the part, but his DNA tells the story!

Again, another week and another backed out potential who never even came to meet him. We are back at ground zero.

Timmy is an 8-pound, fully vetted little guy looking for a very specific kind of home. Ideally, he would be the only dog, or live with calm, small dogs. His person should be home with him most of the time and able to provide the close companionship and supervision he needs.

Timmy does not require special veterinary care or medications. His biggest need is simply a safe environment and a human who can help keep him safe from things like falling down stairs.

He doesn’t need a rescue environment—he needs a committed person who can give him the stability, companionship, and protection he needs to thrive long-term.

Chickamauga GA

Timmy has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a neurological condition that affects coordination and balance. ❤️
It means his cerebellum, the part of the brain responsible for coordinating movement and balance, did not develop fully.
In Timmy’s case, this causes:
A wobbly, unsteady gait — he may walk differently than other dogs.
High-stepping movements and difficulty coordinating his legs.
Occasional tumbles or falls because he struggles with balance.
The good news is that cerebellar hypoplasia is generally non-progressive, meaning it typically does not worsen over time. Dogs can live happy, fulfilling lives with the condition, and it does not necessarily affect their intelligence or ability to bond with people.

Timmy's biggest needs are a safe environment, understanding caregivers, and a home that accommodates his mobility challenges. Meaning basically not allowing him to fall off furniture or down steps.

🐾 ACE — A VERY SPECIAL DOG LOOKING FOR A VERY SPECIAL HOME 🐾

Ace is adorable.
Ace is cuddly.
Ace is affectionate.
And Ace is complicated.

When Ace loves you, he REALLY loves you. He is an absolutely fabulous cuddler who will happily curl up beside his person and soak up affection. He has a sweet, endearing side that makes you understand immediately why someone could fall completely in love with him.

But Ace also has a very serious behavioral issue that potential adopters MUST understand before considering him.

Ace can have an extremely sudden change in behavior. It’s almost as though a switch flips. He may be happily cuddling or interacting with his person and then, when he decides he’s finished, he can escalate very quickly into defensive/aggressive behavior, including attempting to bite.

The transition can happen with very little obvious warning, and his reactions don’t always appear to have an obvious trigger to someone unfamiliar with him. We have had Ace evaluated by a veterinarian, and no underlying medical cause has been identified to explain this behavior. Because we’ve now had several months to live with Ace and truly get to know him, we feel it’s important to be completely transparent: Ace is NOT your typical easygoing Goldendoodle. He requires an adopter who understands canine behavior, respects boundaries, and is willing to manage him rather than assuming his adorable face and cuddly personality tell the whole story.

🏡 What we believe would be the best home for Ace: 🐾 Only pet
🐾 One or two adults
🐾 No children under 12
🐾 Someone experienced with dogs and comfortable recognizing subtle body language
🐾 Someone who understands that affection must happen on Ace’s terms
🐾 A calm, predictable home with structure and consistency
🐾 Someone who is willing to continue working with him and put safety and management first We are not looking for just anyone who thinks Ace is cute. We are looking for the right person who can look at the whole dog — the incredibly sweet, cuddly side AND the very serious behavioral concerns — and honestly decide whether they are equipped to live with both. We also want to acknowledge that what we were initially told about Ace’s behavior did not fully prepare us for what we’ve experienced after getting to know him. We cannot say what happened in his previous home or why he ultimately needed to be rehomed, but the extent of his behavioral concerns was not apparent to us at intake. That is exactly why we are being so forthcoming now. Ace deserves a home that understands him, and his future family deserves to know exactly what they’re taking on. We don’t want Ace labeled as a “bad dog.” He’s not. He’s a dog with a significant behavioral issue that makes him an inappropriate match for many homes. And somewhere out there may be the person who is exactly the right fit for him. ❤️

If that might be you, please understand that Ace will require an honest conversation, careful screening, and a very intentional introduction before placement. Ace is not for everyone. And that’s okay. We’re looking for the person who can love the whole Ace.

These two handsome Shepherd/Lab mix brothers came into animal control emaciated and severely malnourished. 💔

Thankfully, they’ve been given a chance to recover, and they are gaining weight, gaining strength, and THRIVING! ❤️

But now they’re facing LAST CALL at the shelter since nobody has shown interest in either of them in weeks.

They’ve already fought so hard to get healthy. They deserve the chance to actually LIVE — not to have their story end in a shelter. 😭
