Cal State Fullerton is bringing IREM education directly to students. This initiative, featured in the College of Business and Economics publication, is led by IREM member Shannon Alter, CPM.

The program has integrated IREM Skill Badge courses for students enrolled in the University’s Center for Real Estate. Additionally, these students may pursue the ACoM certification track through live, instructor-led courses.

IREM - Northern Ohio Chapter is this month’s Chapter Spotlight, recognized for their ongoing commitment to engaging and connecting with property management students at Cleveland State University (CSU).

"The professor is active with our chapter, he is giving bonus credit to all students who join IREM. The free student membership means most of his students are members and receive our marketing materials for events and are potential CPMs going into the workforce. Past President Dan Last works in affordable housing, he has presented at CSU for the last two years about low income housing and IREM. Current President Bob Murray has spoken directly with the class about IREM. We have told many students that if they want to attend an IREM event that has a cost that is out of their budget, they simply need to reach out to the chapter.

One CSU student is Ethan Losneck, an up-and-coming future property manager who is finishing his senior year. We are thrilled to include Ethan as one of our active members in the chapter. He embodies exactly what a young professional should be in the industry. We encourage all students interested in property management to join IREM to get a jump on their future career."
