For History's Sake FOR HISTORY'S SAKE is a page that highlights the importance of 19th Century Black history.

The "For History's Sake" FB page will focus strictly on 18th and19th century African-American history. Most African-Americans are the descendants of Africans forcibly brought to and held captive in the United States from 1555 to 1865. You will read about slavery, reconstruction, war, abolitionists, emancipation, revolts, etc., but most importantly, you will learn about the contributions of African-Americans to the United States.
