Stagg-Union League Boys & Girls Club Stagg-Union League Boys & Girls Club started March 13th 2014. Our after-school program offers a variety of fun activities & engaging learning incentives.

The Union League Boys & Girls Clubs was founded on December 26, 1919 by the membership of the Union League Club of Chicago, and became an affiliate member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) in early 1920. The Clubs established its first club (Club One) later that same year through the purchase of a building in the Pilsen neighborhood. In 1924, an 80-acre residential camp was purchased nea

r Salem, Wisconsin. The Camp has since grown to include 247 acres and now provides a wide variety of year-round camping experiences to all members of the Clubs. Three other full-service clubs have opened since in Chicago: Club Two in 1927; Barreto Club in 1972; and Lafayette Club in 2002. Extension clubs were established in 2010 at Roberto Clemente High School and Von Humboldt Elementary/Middle School and in 2012 at the Pickard Elementary School.
