🙏 **CAN YOU THANK GOD BEFORE YOU SEE THE ANSWER?**

It's easy to praise God after the door opens.

After the healing.

After the breakthrough.

After the provision.

After the prayer is answered.

But faith teaches us something deeper.

Sometimes praise comes **before** the evidence.

You may not see it yet.

You may not understand how it's going to happen.

You may still be waiting.

But God is still worthy of your praise.

Philippians 4:6 tells us to bring our requests to God **with thanksgiving**.

That means thanksgiving doesn't have to wait until the answer arrives.

You can thank Him while you're waiting.

"Lord, I thank You for making a way."

"Lord, I thank You for giving me wisdom."

"Lord, I thank You for restoration."

"Lord, I thank You for peace."

"Lord, I thank You for providing."

"Lord, I thank You for healing."

Praise while you wait.

Worship while you wait.

Trust while you wait.

📝 **Reflection Questions**

• What prayer are you still waiting for God to answer?

• Has waiting strengthened or challenged your faith?

• What can you thank God for today?

đź“– **Journaling Prompt**

**Father, while I wait, I choose to thank You for ____________.**

Then write at least **five things** you're grateful for right now.

đź’¬ **Let's fill the comments with thanksgiving!**

Name **ONE THING** you're thanking God for today.

❤️ GOD CARES ABOUT THE PLACES THAT STILL NEED HEALING

Healing isn't always about what others can see.

Sometimes the places that need God's healing touch are hidden deep inside.

A disappointment you never discussed.

Words that still hurt when you remember them.

A relationship that changed you.

A prayer that seemed unanswered.

A season you survived but never really processed.

Psalm 147:3 says,

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

God doesn't ask us to pretend that something never happened.

He invites us to bring it into His presence.

There is freedom in saying:

"Jesus, this still hurts."

"Jesus, I don't understand."

"Jesus, help me forgive."

"Jesus, show me how to move forward."

Healing often begins when we stop hiding the wounded places from the One who already sees them.

📝 Reflection Questions

• Is there an area of your heart you've been avoiding?

• What would emotional or spiritual freedom look like for you?

• What might you need to release to God?

đź“– Journaling Prompt

Jesus, is there an area of my heart that You want to heal in this season? What do You want me to know about it?

Give yourself permission to write without editing your thoughts.

đź’ś You don't have to share the details publicly.

Instead, if you're trusting God for healing, simply comment:

"I'm giving it to God."

We'll stand in faith with you.

🌱 **DON'T DESPISE THE SMALL BEGINNING**

Sometimes we are waiting for something BIG while God is asking us to be faithful with something small.

A small prayer.

A small step.

A small opportunity.

A small act of obedience.

A small beginning.

Zechariah 4:10 reminds us not to despise the day of small things.

The seed doesn't look like the harvest.

But the harvest is already contained inside the seed.

What have you been overlooking because it seems too small?

Maybe God isn't asking you to finish the entire assignment today.

Maybe He's simply asking you to **begin**.

Write the first paragraph.

Make the phone call.

Submit the application.

Forgive the person.

Take the class.

Start walking.

Open the Bible.

Pray again.

Try again.

Believe again.

Small steps of obedience can lead to significant transformation.

📝 **Reflection Questions**

• What have you been postponing because you don't feel completely ready?

• What small step could you take this week?

• Have you been comparing your beginning to someone else's progress?

đź“– **Journaling Prompt**

**Lord, what small step of obedience are You asking me to take right now? Give me the courage to begin.**

đź’¬ **LET'S ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER**

Finish this sentence:

**This week, I'm taking one step toward ____________.**

Your answer might inspire someone else to take their first step too.

🔋 HOW FULL IS YOUR SPIRITUAL BATTERY?

We charge our phones.

We charge our tablets.

We charge our watches.

We charge almost everything we depend on.

But when was the last time you intentionally stopped to recharge spiritually?

Sometimes we keep going while our spiritual battery is flashing LOW.

We serve.

We help.

We work.

We care for others.

We handle responsibilities.

And before we realize it, we are trying to pour from an empty place.

God never intended for us to live spiritually depleted.

Ephesians 3:16 speaks of being strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner person.

Maybe your recharge today looks like worship.

Maybe it's opening your Bible.

Maybe it's sitting quietly with Jesus.

Maybe it's getting some much-needed rest.

Maybe it's saying "no" to something so you can say "yes" to time with God.

Don't wait until you're completely empty.

Reconnect to your Source.

📝 Reflection Questions

• What has been draining you lately?

• What activities genuinely restore you spiritually?

• Have you been spending more time pouring out than allowing God to pour into you?

đź“– Journaling Prompt

Jesus, show me where I have become spiritually depleted. What do You want me to do differently so I can remain connected to You?

đź’¬ CHECK YOUR BATTERY!

If your spiritual battery had a percentage right now, what would it be?

🔋 100% — Overflowing
🔋 75% — Feeling strong
🔋 50% — I need refreshing
🔋 25% — Recharge needed
🔋 10% — Lord, fill me again!

Drop your percentage in the comments!

🍂 **A NEW SEASON IS BEGINNING**

September reminds us that seasons change—and so do we.

Sometimes God changes our surroundings. Sometimes He changes our assignments. And sometimes, before anything around us changes, He begins changing something **within us**.

You may be entering this month carrying unanswered prayers, unfinished goals, or situations that did not turn out the way you expected. But don't assume that because you haven't seen the answer yet, God isn't working.

There are things happening beneath the surface.

There are prayers God is answering in ways you cannot yet see.

There are doors being prepared.

There are lessons being learned.

And there is strength developing inside of you for the season ahead.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, *"To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven."*

Instead of asking, "Why isn't this happening yet?" perhaps September is an opportunity to ask:

**"Lord, what are You developing in me during this season?"**

📝 **Reflection Questions**

• What season of life do you believe you are currently experiencing?

• What might God be asking you to release as you enter a new season?

• What do you sense God inviting you to embrace?

đź“– **Journaling Prompt**

**Jesus, as I enter this new season, what do You want me to leave behind, and what do You want me to carry forward?**

Sit quietly for a few moments. Write what comes to your heart.

đź’¬ **Let's talk!**

Describe your current season in **ONE WORD**.

Mine is: __________.

Headline: From Survivor to Advocate: My "Here for This" Moment This September 🩸💙

This September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month, and it’s a time that hits incredibly close to home. For those who don’t know, I am a survivor of Multiple Myeloma—a battle that reshaped my life and gave me a "heightened awareness" of just how precious every single day is.

When I was first diagnosed, the fear and uncertainty were overwhelming. But I realized early on that I wasn't alone, and that knowledge made all the difference. That is why I am proud to be a volunteer with Blood Cancer United (BCU) . The mission of BCU is deeply personal to me; it's about funding research that saves lives, advocating for patient protections, and building a community where no one feels isolated by their diagnosis.

Being part of the Blood Cancer United family has allowed me to turn my survival into a purpose—to be part of the "thread that unites" patients, families, and advocates working toward a cure.

Support the Mission by Reading My Story đź“–
To mark this important month, I want to invite you to support the cause in a meaningful way. I’ve poured my heart into my book, Faithful Through the Fire, sharing the raw realities of my diagnosis, the resilience I found, and what it truly means to live with Multiple Myeloma.

Throughout the entire month of September, a portion of all book sales will be donated to Blood Cancer United. By purchasing a copy, you aren't just reading a story of survivorship—you are directly funding the cutting-edge research and patient support that gives people like me a chance to keep fighting. 🌟

Let’s work together to make sure more people are "here for" their precious moments. Every donation—or book purchased—makes a difference.
