Shakespeare 400 Chicago celebrated the vibrancy, relevance and reach of Shakespeare's stories through a yearlong international arts festival held across Chicago's leading cultural and creative institutions. Spearheaded by Chicago Shakespeare Theater, this Quadricentennial celebration hosted artists from around the globe to explore how Shakespeare's words continue to live in Chicago through the world's great theater, dance, literature, music, food and spectacle.
