🐎 More than a horseback ride—it was a lesson in legacy.
Many people don't realize that 1 in 4 cowboys in the American West were Black. They were ranchers, horse trainers, trailblazers, and leaders whose stories helped shape history, even if they weren't always included in it.
This week, our Summer Experience youth didn't just ride horses—they learned what it takes to care for one. A horse doesn't become strong by accident. It needs the right fuel, consistent training, discipline, rest, and an investment in its growth.
The same is true for us.
If we want to reach our purpose, we have to take care of our minds, bodies, and spirits. We need mentors who challenge us, opportunities that stretch us, and the discipline to keep showing up—even when it's hard. Success isn't something you stumble into. It's something you prepare for.
That's what it means to be a WORKHORSE. 💪🏾 Not just someone who works hard, but someone who commits to becoming stronger every day, ready for whatever race life puts in front of them.
Legacy. Preparation. Discipline. Purpose.
That's the Summer Experience.
