Wow, what a summer!!
It was an honor to serve as the Curriculum Developer for Chicago Park District Young Cultural Stewards, developing their 2025–2026 curriculum: one framework and four curricula to support facilitation across varying levels, from park staff to seasonal teaching artists.
At the heart of this work was the opportunity to learn from Chicago’s parks, communities, and artists—to synthesize their knowledge, creative practices, and ways of working into resources that support meaningful learning and connection. We also leaned in to support restorative practices and program evaluation along the way.
Grateful for the trust to help turn a wealth of community knowledge into something others can carry forward.
