The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Alumni Association (CBYXAA) unites Americans who have participated in high school, vocational, and young professionals CBYX programs. this life-changing exchange program. By late 2019 CBYXAA will be a self-sustaining and alumni-driven organization whose work supports and furthers the goals of the CBYX program. Please join us by providing your ideas, sharing your expertise, and volunteering your time to shape this organization. CBYX is sponsored by the U.S.Department of State.

✨ The CBYX Alumni Association is proud to welcome Vinson Anderson to the Board of Directors! ✨

Vinson Anderson is a 1993-94 CBYX High School alum whose year in Germany set the trajectory for a career in international service. He served four years in the U.S. Navy as a Ceremonial Honor Guard and Arabic linguist before joining the CIA, where he spent 26 years as a Senior Operations Officer. His career included multiple tours as Chief of Station across Africa, a senior role in the Center for Cyber Intelligence, and was awarded the Career Intelligence Medal and DNI National Intelligence Award. He has previously served as a U.S. Government-appointed voting board director for the International Community School of Addis Ababa and the American International School of Niamey.
