This week, the IL General Assembly will reconvene and an important House committee is set to consider our bill (SB1937) to help fix Tier 2. Passing this bill through committee would represent significant momentum going into the full session, and we need your help to get it done.

Today’s the day! Today through Thursday, we’re making sure our lawmakers know that pension fairness can't wait. We're telling them that the time to Fix Tier 2 is now! Make your voice heard!

Call your lawmakers at 507-497-1665 and tell them you’re an AFSCME member who lives in their district and ask them to support the Fair Retirement and Recruitment Act.

Last week’s Fix Tier 2 Rally really shook up Springfield. But now we need to make sure lawmakers got the message that it’s time to fix the unfair Tier 2 pension system—it’s time to pass the Fair Retirement and Recruitment Act.
